Descent Underground: ladderable

Just curious to see if people have thought about Descent Underground being integrated into the ladder. Obviously it would be a different 'game' in the way of D1 D2 and D3.....

considering the current state of the game....at present it is not ladderable.

My vote is that D:U shouldn't even be considered until it's full release. I have a big disdain for early access, and I can imagine that there will be patches for netcode and tweaks and the like.

I can't take it seriously right now. I'd say we should consider it if and when that changes for most of us.

Firstly, in its current state, it is not good for 1v1. And secondly, it changes and will change a lot - I'm not sure you want to run a skill-rated ladder against a moving target.

Admittedly, we already have that problem with D2 and D3 - they have great potential to confuse the ladder when pilots are markedly better in one game than another, which is pretty common.

Not yet. I say we reconsider after full release, since I'd imagine most on the ladder haven't even played it yet.
