Morfod, what was your comeback on me at the LAN? Something like 13-19 down? Granted it was Ono, but still!

All the big ones I was going to bring up have been covered (summer of h8, gold streak).

I want to do a nomination, but it would involve me so I guess I can just point it out and let others decide if it's cool.

The "vigorous defense" medal was designed to encourage people at the top of their tier to actually play instead of just sitting at #1. We actually had it happen in all 3 tiers, including 3 gold pilots (Jediluke, Mark392, Souljah) plus me in silver and Wats in bronze. I think it's awesome that people who took the top spot were willing to defend it (also of note, we had 7 different people take top gold, 7 take top silver, and 12 take top bronze.) There was no rank-camping this season; people were out there putting their spots on the line, and sometimes were able to hold them through a lot of games.

I very much approve of all the props given thus far. A few others that come to my mind:

Lady Silver:
In this season there were 37 games of D3 played, of which Lady Silver accounts for 30 of them. All previous seasons had a grand total of... five D3 games, and it was not played at all during Fall of 2014. So I'd like to nominate her for essentially single-handedly raising D3 matches on the DCL, even if a lot of pilots react by pointing and screaming, or 'staying away from dat chit'. :p

I think it's also very cool that even though D3 was her native environment, she has shown no fear in playing D1 with the rest of us, and she's gotten a lot better at it, too.

Lotharbot:
Throughout the season he sought out games with pilots across all tiers, and especially pilots new to the DCL. He has played the most opponents of anyone on the DCL, and the most games against bronze tier for anyone in Gold (and Silver as well with the exception of Morfod). His dedication to "greeting" new players and getting games in with anyone and everyone should be commended.

Morfod:
He has played the most levels this season, and I was extremely impressed with how knowledgeable he is of old levels (and players!), and his willingness to share that history with us. Of all the levels I've flown, a significant number of them would have been unknown to me if not for him.

I'll definitely second Lady Silver's D3 revival. Granted I helped

but she spearheaded it big time, not to mention the D3 CTF revival which I've been sadly absent for.

Should be commended.

That think Morfod mentioned about Lotharbot getting demoted like a boss probably deserves something, too.
