Congrats to Birddog for obtaining #1 on the DCL!

Wow, very proud Birddog! Nice job!

I've been watching your fusion get better and better the last week or so--I noticed something in your head click, it's looking really nice lately.
There's a bit of a tradition of congratulating someone reaching #1 on a ladder for the first time (at least some of us on the IDL did this) so I thought I'd continue it.

You go, Bdog! Also, where is his dark horse Bronze--Diamond? Never thought it would happen eh? He'll probably make his silver promo so perhaps he isn't quite as bronzy, but still, he did earn it

Also, shouldn't he have one of these?

Congrats birddog. Nicely played game!

It was assumed that a bronze beating a diamond wouldn't happen anytime soon if ever....so they did not get around to making the award. That will be remedied.

Glad I could give Drakona something to do as it relates to Descent.

Birddog put up a 'threatening' score vs me in our first UGH match yesterday. Then I think we did Athena NH and after that he said something like "I guess you're never going to play me in UGH again."

To which I replied, "We can DCL in UGH again right now if ya like" ((famous last words))

....and since I'm stubborn...

I'd like to play you in UGH again.

One half of me thinks "super historic, congrats, lol I've never won vs platinum and now someone two tiers lower did it"

...and the other half thinks "but it's in Ugh. It might as well be D3. Does it really count?"

I'm not sure which half to listen to

Regardless of what level it happened in and/or any extenuating circumstances surrounding the game....the bottom line is....I chose to play it....from start to finish....and....he won. He did what it took to win and did so convincingly.

I salute you for it and I'll endure a match in that level again.....hopefully with different results

It was the best I've ever seen birddog look in ugh....really nice fusion placement. Well done Birddog! Well done.

I would imagnie that no one will EVER dehtrone me as the having the most egregious(TM) darkhorse in history now!!! muhuhaha!! This was my master plan all along....as I can NOT have morfod out do me in any category!
