D1X-Retro 1.4x5... for Mac
I had one of those "awesome" Descent moments today... I dropped into a Wrath game between Jediluke and Lee and started observing. While on the train on my commute home.
On my MacBook Pro. Without emulation.
That's right, there's a Mac version of 1.4x5 now available to test! It's not known how stable it is yet, or how many systems it works on, but hopefully this will open up the fun of observing games - and all the changes that have happened between 1.3 and 1.4x5 - to you Mac users out there. It ran like a champ on my 2012 model.
Grab it at , and if you have any issues, let me know!

Excellent work Roncli. Thanks for all you've done (and are continuing to do) to help this game and the people that play it.

I hear it only works on 10.12. I am going to try to compile it against 10.9 and see if that helps.

I'm confused as to what is in the email... A compilation, words, a deed, and/or a bridge?! If the bridge is physically located in the email I'm wonder how great it could actually be...?

Jedi, you've compiled it for the Apple ][e, already, why are you wasting your time with these newfangled Macintosh systems???
On a serious note, that link is now compiled against the 10.9 SDK, so if it didn't work for you, redownload it and try again. I chose 10.9 because that's the first OSX that was made free. If someone wants it for an earlier version, please let me know, although the turnaround time might suck.
