These type of posts eat at me inside like no other.

Truly wish I could have kept interested and learned how to dominate. I think the game is so complex now that it takes a ton of work to develop certain skills to edge you over your opponent and you only have a limited time to exploit that skill. I am a prime example of that. My vulcan and my game has been countered to a normal mid/low-tier gold. Also, doesn't help when I can't spar with Luke & Mark nonstop. I am yet to learn much from Mark - that would have been awesome to suck some skills off of him.

The community itself got a little slow, and I just have priorities now - which sucks. I need to make my money and retire as quick as possible so I can get back in the mines

All I know is Jedi or Mark is #1 in my book - Mark has never been beaten by me, but I certainly had far less games and I never got a grasp for his range of play-styles - basically I just don't know how to adjust because he can switch up multiple times per game. Jedi I know like the back of my hand and he stills beats me - sometimes horribly. So, it's very hard for me to say who's better. It pisses me off that I know what Luke is going to do and still beats me. Mark pisses me off because I don't know what he's going to do

Say I cared again and I tried super hard to push through this plateau or regression that I'm experiencing, the community just isn't active enough for it to matter - waiting for the next competitive like descent game to come out. I look at descent as a way to relax and just play now.

Also, I'd like this post to be birdseye proof - meaning any quote/response made by him shouldn't matter at all - because he's an insignificant vindictive whore.

There is definitely been ebb and flow since I've been back. No one person's been truly the "Top Pilot". It's *mostly* been Jediluke and Mark392, but occasionally some upstart will start playing like they found a piece of the force and start dismantling people no one else can touch.

@Drakona, I'd be interested in knowing who held the #1 spot at any point last year!
