Another pilot I had the fortune of playing against elsewhere, but unfortunately not on the DCL, though like in the other cases, that's primarily my fault for being a casual player who only considered it after reading the announcement of the DCL transitioning to the Legacy-era.
Still, you're quite the formidable pilot, and when it came to 1-on-1s, I remember you being the ones that shut me down the earliest. I don't recall if you were the first pilot to shut me out, though.
The most prominent thing I'll always know about your flying is your mind-games, and how excellent you are with them. People go on about DKH's, or how DKH is always behind such-and-such, but *you* truly easily school me over with the mind-games! One moment you're popping out with a Fusion Blast to my bow, and then moments later you're at my stern! It gets to the point where I keep turning my Pyro 180°, and half the time, I'll end up with my rear facing you without you trying!
But what I'll remember most from you is the random anarchies you've hosted, and whether it be chaos in Flea or the rare 1-on-1s we've had in Lurk that turn into normal Anarchy when others join, or any of the others you've hosted that I joined, I'll always remember them in general for being good casual fun that kept life in Descent going in-between seasons of Roncli's Observatory. I hope you get to do it again.
I've also discovered how excellent a map maker you are. People keep going on about how certain others are underrated or not payed attention to as much, but I feel that's truly the case with you, Swarthy. Some of your maps truly prove you can rival the best of 'em...*especially* when it comes to architecture. If people ever bring up Ostrich Pro and how memorable that Lee map is...people should remember Dog. That's *your* map, an it's just as fun in it's own light-hearted way.
I look forward to more fun anarchies hosted by you in the future, Swarthy. Like with many other people in the community, you've truly helped keep life in Descent going on in your own way.
