Lee
(According To His Opponents)
Lee, few people played me as many times as you have over the years! I enjoyed every single game we had. You were fearless and fun. You weren't afraid to play anyone in any level and that earned my respect for sure!
I don't like the way things ended between us but it doesn't change how I feel about all our games and all our interactions we had over the years! You were a very enjoyable part of my DCL experience! GGs

There are so many words to describe Lee, but the most apt word I can think of:

Ostrich.

I have complicated, varied thoughts about the DCL, a place where i generally enjoyed competing. You managed to share similar thoughts without sounding like a complete baby. The history of the DCL is littered with a handful of players who took their ball and went home. You are a backbone of the DCL, for your efforts to foster new players, for always speaking your mind, for serving as a fulcrum of the counter culture.

Oh, Lee. If Descent is a nation, you would be one of it's national treasures for sure.

Your thematic levels are very memorable and worth playing in and remembering. Lots of your levels has this theme that necessarily takes the seriousness out of Descent and brings some good fun into it, even when it comes to levels that have a configuration that's similar to a lot of other levels out there.

But you also have the capacity to even go further and make something a bit less common and more unique even in gameplay, like with Asteroid Belt. Everyone will remember you for the wit put into your levels most of all, though, like with Ostrich Pro. Overall, your map-making talents are up there with the other great map makers, and you should not be forgotten in this community for at least this reason.

And although we haven't fought on the DCL, you can at least hold your own pretty well in an anarchy *and* in The Observatory!
