If you haven't tried to take another demo, it might still be saved as tmpdemo or tempdemo (I forget the exact name) in your demos directory. - LotharBot
No, the game is evil. If you ESC out of the demo box, it deletes it for you. I have lost many good demos that way. :( - Drakona

Yeah, I think it only temp saves when a game crashes or when the host closes the game on you before you could name the demo. It happens but better not again! - -_-
